The Brattle Book Shop is a small, independent, family-owned book store in downtown Boston. Aside from carrying general used and out-of-print books, they possess an entire floor of rare and antiquarian books, including a number of first editions. They also carry a collection of antique maps, postcards, and other resources. Propietor Ken Gloss is an expert on antiquarian books and periodically gives lectures.
Daniel E. Pritchard is a poet, essayist, and critic, hailing from and residing in Boston. He is the production manager and art director for The Pen & Anvil Press, a founding member of the Boston Poetry Union, and the production assistant at David R. Godine, Publisher. He publishes this blog about literature, culture, and life.
